As a club team, the Rowing Club at NC State receives a small portion of its budget from the school each year which roughly covers the cost of housing our boats at Lake Wheeler.   All remaining costs including boat insurance, race entries, and travel costs are covered by rower dues and fundraising.  Rower dues typically cover the cost of race entries; while travel costs are paid by the students separately.  With so many remaining fees to be paid, the team relies heavily on fundraising activities such as Rent-A-Rower and donations from generous individuals.
